3 Exercises To Get a Flat Stomach Fast

1. Overhead pulley crunch — This is a massive exercise that you can do at your local gym. You grab the cable pulley, kneel down below it and hold it adjacent to the top of your head. Now, curl pull the cable towards the floor by curling your stomach. Many people do this wrong and forget to curl their abdomen making this exercise less effective. Pull the cable in a fluid motion, not in an abrupt thrust. Also, don’t try to get to the floor as it will cause your knees to slide back. Feel for the point of maximum abdominal intensity and go back to the starting position.
2. Abs bicycles — This is a well known exercise which often doesn’t get enough attention and is replaced by the useless crunch. The bicycle is an excellent exercise for a flat stomach and you should definitely do it. You start this exercise by lying on a mat with your hands holding the sides of your head and your feet on the floor at a 90 degrees angle. Then you curl your abdomen diagonally by bringing one elbow and the opposite knee closer together, while straightening your other leg a few inches above the floor. Now you switch sides, simultaneously bringing the other elbow and knee together. This movement resembles cycling and is a very effective abs exercise.
3. Reverse Crunches — It’s amazing how much more effective an opposite movement can be than the common one. Reverse crunches are such an example. Lie as you do for a regular crunch, but place both arms straight on the mat beside your body and lift your head and shoulders a bit off the floor. Now raise your pelvis by curling it towards your torso so that your bended knees come as close as possible to your chest. Again, do this in a fluid motion, not abruptly.
These 3 exercises alone can get you a flatter stomach faster than all the abdominal machines and endless crunches that most people perform.
